Celebrations 🥂🎉

Milena has made a simple app to automate one of her tasks!

In her own words:

“I built a web app in Django and Angular to track emotions during research project (part of research). Previously we did it by pinning marks on printed emoji board, but now It’s automated 🥰”

MAKING WEBAPPS IS SO MUCH FUN 🦄👩‍💻💾🚀👩‍🚀 That's what I really love about coding – you can digitalize your surroundings and automate boring tasks. Have you ever ugraded your life using coding skills? 🌟 During my #analogastronaut experience I had to make tons of measurements every 2h. One of them was tracking mood in form of pinning the mark on emoji, taking photo of the marks and sending photos to mission control (you can see the emoji board with marks in the background). From this real life problem I made fun weekend project and made a webapp with Django on the backend, Angular 9 at frontend and hosted prototype on #heroku. And I'm so proud of how it turned out! #programistka #womenintech #girlswhocode #techblogger #steminist #webdeveloper #webapp #100daysofcode #javascript #pythonprogramming #django #djangogirls #computerscience #devlife #frontenddeveloper #fullstackdeveloper #angular #learnsomething #learntocode

Congratulations, Jenny! Super excited to see what this new chapter brings you and what new doors you open with this role ❤️

Many people all around the world are living paycheck to paycheck for various reasons. Allow me to share with you what I’ve been doing to avoid that. DISCLAIMER: I’m not a financial advisor Knowing how to make smart decisions with my money has been a critical step towards becoming financially independent. Making money is the easy part. Saving and strategically allocating it is confusing Here’s how I budget my money: 1. Put aside my monthly expenses: food, car payment, insurance, entertainment… 2. Contribute to my emergencies fund (I try my hardest not to touch it) 3. Invest: cryptocurrency, stocks, and real estate . ———————— Debts: not all debts are bad. For example, a house is an ASSET (increase in value over time) vs. something like a car, it’s considered a LIABILITY (decrease in value over time) . ——————————————————— Today’s #bytesized #tips: 1. Make money 2. Put some in savings 3. INVEST! Have your money work for you. Having it in your bank account won’t give you much return

With this video, I showcase that you can use any programming language to do ML. In the video, I also take the time to explain how to translate math equations into code.
