My birthday thoughs… ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ Waking up not so early ✔ feeling loved by loved ones ✔ getting ready ✔ do something special ✔✔ go to Kate Spade ✔ Rockefeller Center tree ✔ be thankful to God ✔ ♡ Today is special, it not only marks one more year to my existence but it makes me think only of all the good thinks that have passed this year. In resume it was tougher than other years but my concentration is not on that or the negative. It is only in the positive and the response and solution I found to solve any hardship and the perseverance I had to accomplished things. And for that I'm thankful. I'm still here, standing, still living in my beloved city, having a job, doing things I want and with a list of goals for next year to fulfill with less fear and time for excuse. ♡ Soon another NEW YEAR to work in make myself better and the opportunity to make it better for other and accomplish with no pressure but with meaning all I have envisioned for me and my family ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ #girlsboss #bossbabe #womeninbusiness #weekend #strongwomen #newyork #fempire #bosslady #womenintech #techie #girlswhocode #newyorkphotographer #newyorkblogger #workhard #lifestyle #shecanstem #codeislife #codingisfun #ilooklikeanengineer #tech #javascript #ruby #femaleintech #youtube #newyorker #vlog #blogger #puppylove #manhattan #nyc

Officially graduating from software engineering in two days 😳👩‍🎓 I loved being an undergrad at @etsmtl more than I ever thought possible. ⠀ ⠀ During my 4 years at #etsmtl, my personality completely changed. ⠀ ⠀ University changed me so much, in ways I probably don’t realize yet. ⠀ ⠀ Even if I'm still shy at times, I don't hesitate to go after what I want. 🙋‍♀️⠀ ⠀ I constantly go out of my comfort zone every time I can.⠀ ⠀ I talked in front of crowds and participated in countless panels. ⠀ ⠀ In a room full of strangers, I don't stay alone in a corner. I go to people and introduce myself. ⠀ ⠀ I go to events alone because nothing will stop me from doing what I want 🙊⠀ ⠀ I learned time management and priorities. An essential skill at uni when juggling a student club, a successful blog/IG/YouTube channel, social life, and studies. ⠀ ⠀ I discovered how hard I can work to reach my goals.⠀ ⠀ I’m proud of me! 😁❤️

What equations/theory do you use on a regular basis? If I’m working with waves (because the wind and waves are related over the ocean), I’m most likely working with wave equations _ LINEAR OCEAN WAVE THEORY: how do waves move across the sea surface? _ UNKNOWNS _ 1. Velocity field, u,v, w 2. Free surface elevation (η) 3. Pressure field _ EQUATIONS _ 1. Continuity of mass: Laplace’s differential equation in terms of velocity potential (flow): solving gives us the surface height, velocity potential, velocity and dispersion relation and must satisfy ALL boundary conditions 2. Bernoulli’s equation (reduction in pressure usually due to increase in fluid speed) _ BOUNDARY CONDITIONS _ 1. Bottom boundary condition: no flow through an impervious body 2. Dynamic free surface condition: PRESSURE at interface, found from Bernoulli’s equation 3. Kinematic free surface condition: MOTION the velocity of a particle follows the velocity of the surface 4. Lateral boundary conditions: determined situationally based on boundary. If none, periodic boundary condition invoked, as the wave propagates with constant form in x direction θ= ωt -kx

Everything you wanted to know about being a new-grad Program Manager – created and shared by Dasani

Dasani says:

“Program Management is a highly coveted and elusive role in the tech industry. In this article, I describe what the role is, how you can be a PM and answer a lot of questions I get asked regularly about my job.”

Claire says:

“I have always found Udacity courses to be done to a very high standard. The videos are made well and they throw in plenty of examples for you to practice what you are learning. There are plenty of free courses that help you learn the basics of programming, big data tools like Spark, and even statistics.

You can build up a high-quality foundation of understanding in different programming topics for free! For example, the one in the link goes to full-stack foundations which teaches you how to make a web app.”
