About Andrea
I’m a computer vision engineer passionate about photography and data-driven technologies. I’m currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer. Aside I am also a sports addict and I like building fun software programs.
How did you get into tech?
I’ve always been passionate about technology. I remember I was using my dad’s computer ever since I was a child and I used to love going to the science and technology museum. I then became very passionate about other areas like photography and music (plus excelling at maths and physics), so I decided to combine all the passions and pursue a degree in Acoustics and Image Processing, with a later specialisation in Computer Vision.
What languages/technologies do you have the most experience in?
Python, C/C++, Javascript, SQL, Matlab.
What are you currently learning/practising?
I am currently trying to practice the ability to use existing tools to create innovative computer programs.
What are your favourite resources to learn/stay updated on tech?
GitHub and research papers.
What would people learn about by following you?
How to think outside the box and create innovative solutions to problems. I am an advocate of critical thinking and that is what I try to transmit the most to my followers.
What inspired you to start sharing your experiences on social media?
I want people to not feel that because they have fewer resources than others, they cannot achieve great things in life. I encountered myself with people like that in real life so I imagined I could create a brand that could showcase how to create and learn AI without owning any expensive material.

Being kind, respectful and helpful towards other people. I always try to make feel comfortable and accept who they are and help them find their passion.
